During the stresses and strains of a modern day lifestyle, the body is put under tremendous pressure to perform, affecting not only the physical but also the emotional and mental state of a person.

Through urinary analysis Tiffany is able to diagnose and detect disease within the body. The liver – whether it is tired or toxic; the pancreas – whether it has good quality or quantity of digestive enzymes (without these the body is unable to utilize the nutrients and food you put in); the kidneys – whether or not there is a weakness or infection in the system. With the digestive system it is possible to detect where there is a problem with the digestion of the three main food groups – proteins, carbohydrates and fats, as well as seeing if there is an inflamed gut lining, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, or Crohn’s Disease or other such digestive disorders. The test can also detect problems with the Gall Bladder and the circulatory system.

So many problems stem from the incomplete digestion of foods and toxification of the liver, symptoms ranging from depression to arthritis to an imbalance of hormones and to many other instances of disease. Tiffany treats the whole person using herbs, cell salts, Homoeopathy, Deep Tissue massage, Sports Massage and Aromatherapy. In addition, she uses Lymphatic Drainage (this is used to clear odema, blood cleansing and getting rid of excess fluid build up including chronic sinus problems), Bach Flower and Perelanda Essences which deal with the emotional and mental hurdles in everyday lives.

Tiffany uses phenolics, which can help desensitize against allergies and intolerances, be it food, dust or other allergens in the environment, as well as balance hormones to instigate the correct balance of the body. She works closely with diet, The Blood Type Diet and The Zone Diet, helping people to lose weight once having reached their optimum. She is also able to work with children and autism, and the normal childhood diseases.

Diploma of Naturopathy

Tiffany has travelled extensively around the world and spent four to five months living in an Ashram in India, where she learnt and then taught Hatha Yoga. Tiffany then continued to travel down through Asia, sampling the many cultures and religions, finally arriving in Australia. It was here she first developed an interest in Natural Therapies and began her studies.

Tiffany continued her studies at the South Pacific College of Natural Therapies in Auckland, and the Homoeopathy College in Wellington, studying Homoeopathy for two years. She completed her diploma from the NZ College of Natural Therapies in 2001, and has been practicing ever since.

Tiffany has also worked in a health store business, where she learnt what is available on the market and how much products cost. This, Tiffany believes, is a factor that needs to be taken into consideration when prescribing. She has previously worked from Body Balance on Tinakori Road and has now joined the team of complimentary health professionals here on Lambton Quay in Wellington.
