Wellington North Parents Centre Inc is one of 58 parents centres throughout New Zealand. They are a voluntary organisation for parents and parents-to-be, run by parents. They provide Antenatal Classes, Parent & Child Education for Parents in the Wellington North area (Churton Park to Makara: including Thorndon, Wadestown and Northland). WNPC do not support or promote any one model of birth or parenting practice. Rather, through a variety of education and information programmes they inform parents and parents-to-be the choices available to them.
